Hello friends. The Garmin Alpen-Triathlon Schliersee is on the web again.
The race date for next year is fixed:

The day before we will again celebrate our pasta party.

Age-Grouper, Bundesliga and Elite Race in Schliersee
The Alpen-Triathlon will be a Bundesliga race for the tenth time. But of course the race will stay open for anyone.
Elite athletes from any country will compete with the Bundesliga starters in the elite wave. The Prize money amounts to 13.000,- €
Age-groupers will start just 5 minutes behind the top athletes. And everybody is invited to enjoy one of the most spectacular races in Europe: the ambitious veteran as well as the absolute beginner.

 

Elite Race
All athletes have to register online on our web site. Wet suits are forbidden at 20°C and more. DTU rules will comply. For elite classification drafting is allowed. The bicycles must comply with the drafting regulations, among other things: a) Only traditional "drop" handlebars are permitted b) Handlebar extensions may not be longer than the brake levers´ foremost line c) Elbow pads are permitted.

Age-Groups
The classification will be done in all age-groups, but without the athletes registered in the elite classification. Drafting is forbidden.

Relays
For the eights time there will be a relay race in Schliersee also. A relay is formed by three athletes: a swimmer, a biker and a runner independent of sex. So you can enjoy the race with some friends or have a easier way to the finish line at Spitzingsee.
